Fatty foods are generally, foods that have its calorie content majorly from fats. Though fats have  generally  been black-listed, recent research has come to recommend some saturated fats to be part of our daily consumption. Foods such as eggs, cheese, avocado are generally now accepted as healthy fat-foods. But then, there are much more ‟disastrous” fattening foods that many people around the world have made a part of their daily diet. Usually, in the refining process, chemicals such as potassium bromate can be used to further lighten the flour for more predictable properties and increase shelf-life. This is a common cause of obesity, belly-fat and weight-gain. Infact , a study of over  9000 people showed that    eating two slices (120 grams) of white bread per day was linked to a 40% greater risk of weight gain and obesity.

2.       Most Fruit Juices


I need not begin mentioning their names but think about the parties you go to every weekend where this drinks are shared. According to, most fruit juices you find at the supermarket have very little in common with whole fruit. They are highly processed and have been loaded with large amounts of sugar, almost, if not, more than soda. Fruit juices also does not contain fiber which makes you feel full and prevent large, unhealthy consumption.
Other ‟disastrous″ fattening foods we eat include (but are not limited to):
·         French fries and potato chips
·         Cookies and doughnuts
·         Soda (especially the colored ones)
·         Alcohol
All these foods damage the body like slow poison but there is still hope.
