Hiring a young worker will be beneficial

Service

The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy is preparing a number of changes in the field of employment promotion and labor market institutions. One of their main goals is to increase employment among young people.

One of the main reasons for such actions is the increase in unemployment and the policy of the European Union, which wants to allocate EUR 6 billion for this purpose for Poland. These funds are to be distributed by the state in 2014-2020.

To encourage potential employers to hire young people who do not have experience in the draft amendment, the government has made a proposal. An employer who decides to employ an unemployed person up to 30 years of age referred by the office, will be exempt from contributions to the Labor Fund and the Guaranteed Employee Benefits Fund for the first 12 months from the date of establishing the employment relationship. However, when a young unemployed person takes up employment for the first time in his life, the staroste will be able to reimburse the employer for the cost of social security contributions for up to 6 months.

The modifications are intended to encourage the employment of inexperienced and young workers. It is also about small enterprises, for which hiring the wrong employee would be very costly.
