A satisfied employee will perform the assigned tasks more efficiently. A serious mistake a manager can make is to assume that the only factor that motivates you to work is money. Of course, the issue of remuneration is important, especially when signing a contract. However, there is no doubt that other motivating factors are needed in the long run. Already at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s, on the basis of research conducted by Frederick Herzberg, factors were divided into those motivating to work and those that may lead to dissatisfaction. Employees complain about their work when they have too low salary or problems with the boss. However, resolving these problems will not always increase their motivation to work.

Currently, the employer should provide his subordinates not only with safe and hygienic working conditions, but also with psychological comfort. More and more often, companies have more extensive social facilities, allowing them to relax and rest during, for example, a lunch break. In addition, employers offer their subordinates co-financing of childcare, language learning or sports packages.

Such treatments make the workplace more attractive than others. However, it is worth remembering that the welfare facilities and additional benefits will not increase job satisfaction when the basic needs of employees are neglected - after all, they are only positive extras.

Making employees aware of their great impact on the functioning of the company translates into the belief that they are an integral part of it. In this way, their effectiveness and involvement in the project increases significantly.

A good way to implement this approach is to present the concept of the company to all employees, as well as familiarize them with the tasks of each of them. Such a change of attitude can have a positive impact on creative ideas and interesting solutions to the issues under development. If there is no exact specification of responsibilities - it is worth changing the people managing individual projects so that each of them has a sense of responsibility and does not feel aggrieved.

You should not be afraid of a decrease in efficiency or other losses, as changes may lead to the introduction of interesting ideas. In addition, the company protects itself against boredom and burnout of employees.

The reason is simple: they deal with the acquired information quickly and find it unnecessary to further disseminate it. However, such a procedure is usually not effective - providing information to subordinates allows them to be identified with the problem and with the entire enterprise, while hermetic storage of messages makes them feel separated from the company's matters and irrelevant.

Relations between employees are shaped individually in each company. However, regardless of their nature, you should keep a professional distance. This is very important, especially in the case of the relationship between the employer and employee. Each person should remember about their position in the company. The owner, as a leader, is obliged to make decisions and perform functions in the enterprise other than its employees. Becoming overly familiar at work can have negative consequences. There is no doubt that the employer is responsible for good relations between subordinates. Therefore, from the very beginning, he should establish personnel relationships in the company and consistently apply them.
