What is smart living for Poles? What do we know about it?
We can indicate three demographic factors that influence the association of the smart life phenomenon.
The concept of smart living is known by 22% of Poles, so rather few. Slightly more women (4 percentage points) than men know what the idea of smart living is. The age of Poles also matters - 33% of people aged 25-34 declare knowledge of the concept of smart living. The place of residence of the respondents also influences their knowledge - more often than the other respondents (33%), the concept of smart living is known to the inhabitants of the largest cities with over 500,000 inhabitants. residents.

It should be noted, however, that this is not a homogeneous group of people. Who are Poles living according to the idea of smart living in practice? 5% are advanced smart innovators who fully implement the assumptions of smart living, while 17% are adepts of the idea of smart living who apply the basic principles of smart life. The rest are Poles who are potentially interested in the idea.
Technologies and purchases dominate among smart activities
As many as 49% of respondents declare interest in new technologies, and half believe that they have a positive impact on our lives. 28% of respondents cannot imagine their day without access to the Internet. For many respondents, technology is an obligatory part of living and being smart. Moreover, 86% declared their willingness to try new technological innovations, 33% would use smart home devices, and 29% would use an automatic car.
Poles like to buy! As the results of the report show, as many as 89% of Poles can be called smart shoppers. 25% of them use their friends' opinions during their daily shopping, and 20% share them after buying them.
Busy but athletic?
48% of Poles are overworked, exhausted or busy. The universality of the Internet means that we feel more and more often overloaded with the information flowing in, with the simultaneous fear that something important may miss us. We feel obliged to be up to date in all areas of life.
We rest too little - less than 30% of us rest for more than 5 hours. 2% of Poles do not rest at all, while 16% have a maximum of one hour during the day to rest and regenerate!
Playing sports is to help us take care of health and well-being. And here the results look much better - as many as 81% of respondents declare physical activity, but only 35% of Poles regularly practice sports. This is where technology comes in handy. 80% of Poles use technological innovations during exercise. The most common are a music player (31%), a fitness band (20%), and mobile applications for measuring activity.
And what does smart living look like in practice? Do Poles lead a wise life, if only 22% of them know what it means, and only 5% are so-calledinnovators in this field? Although their number is not large, it is worth mentioning here that over 80% of the group declares that they feel happy. So maybe it's worth living wisely in order to be happier and feel better with yourself.
