Money for starting a business - PLN 60,000
Lack of capital is one of the most common obstacles to your own business. To change this, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, in cooperation with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, created a new program under which you can obtain funds for your own business.
The program is called "New business - Support at start" and since September 2013 it can be used by last-year students and graduates from the Małopolskie, Świętokrzyskie and Mazowieckie voivodeships. The applicant may obtain a loan of up to PLN 60,000. Importantly, this support is intended for one person, but not for one company - so if two people eligible for the program want to open a business, the company can get up to PLN 120,000. Additionally, 3 months after receiving the support, you can apply for another PLN 20,000 to create a job for the unemployed. If the employee will work in a given position for at least a year, part of the loan costs will be canceled.
The condition for obtaining a loan is to write a simplified business plan and sign a promissory note or obtain a surety from two natural persons. The loan must be repaid within 7 years, with the possibility of postponing the repayment by one year. The interest rate depends on the NBP interest rates and amounts to ¼ of the bill rediscount rate.
The currently launched stage of the program is of a pilot nature. From the beginning of 2014, its further part is to be implemented, including people from other Polish voivodeships. Persons who previously ran their own business will also be able to apply for a privileged loan, provided that at least one year has elapsed since its liquidation.
