The new amount of the accident insurance premium from April 1, 2015

The percentage rate of contributions for accident insurance for the contribution payer who reports not more than 9 insured persons to accident insurance is 50% of the highest percentage rate established for a given contribution period for activity groups.

Change in the amount of the premium for accident insurance for payers reporting no more than 9 insured persons

Until March 31, 2015, the interest rate of the accident insurance contribution is 1.93%, while from April 1, 2015, the interest rate of this contribution will change and will amount to 1.80%.

Accident insurance premium for the payer applying for accident insurance to at least 10 insured persons

The percentage rate of contributions for accident insurance for the contribution payer who reports to the accident insurance at least 10 insured persons and was obliged to submit the information to ZUS IWA by the end of January, is determined by the Social Insurance Institution, as the product of the percentage rate of the accident insurance contribution, determined for the activity group, to which the contribution payer belongs, as well as the correction index determined for the contribution payer.

Accident insurance premium for other payers

Other payers of contributions, incl. Payers who were not obliged to submit ZUS IWA information by the end of January, independently determine the interest rate of the accident insurance contribution. In the case of these payers, the accident insurance contribution will amount to the interest rate indicated for the specific group of activities to which the payer belongs.

Change of settings in the wfirma.pl system

In the wfirma.pl system, the settings regarding the percentage rate of the accident insurance premium can be found in the SETTINGS »COMPANY» TAXES »ZUS tab.

 

If the STANDARD option was selected in the settings next to the accident option, then the change of the basic accident insurance rate will be automatically changed by the system from 1.93% to 1.80%. On the other hand, if the individual insurance rate has been entered individually, then the interest rate of the rate should be changed independently to the one appropriate for a given payer.
